Why do you believe in CCE?
One of my most important life goals is to give my daughter, Grace, the best “shot" in life that I possibly can. In order to achieve this, I feel that it is vital to provide both, a top-tier education and an environment in which she feels seen and valued.
Much research went into the decision for Grace's schooling and coming across a Classical Christian Education (CCE), which was an extreme eye opener. CCE encompasses all of the education and values, for which I was looking.
Classical Christian Education more thoroughly prepares students for college and higher learning than a traditional/public school education. Additionally, CCE helps students to develop a more thorough understanding of the reasoning behind their curriculum. A Classical Christian Education instills a Biblical perspective and extends beyond only "book knowledge" to build a deep knowledge of each area of study.
One of the favorite things, that I have witnessed through CCE, during our tenure at Oakdale, is the confidence that is instilled within each student through the art of public speaking and rhetoric. This intentional skill is taught from preschool through to senior year.
Family:
I have one daughter, Grace, who will graduate from Oakdale in 2024. Grace has been attending Oakdale since she was in 1st Grade, which was just the second year Oakdale was founded. We both love the school tremendously and feel that our lives would not be the same without the love and support of OA. Outside of the academic day, Grace and I both enjoy supporting all of the athletics programs at Oakdale. In fact, Grace has been involved with each of the girls' sports teams, since she was in 5th grade. Beyond our school environment, we attend The River Church and volunteer within the children’s ministry.
Professional:
Founder and CEO of Productive Solutions: A company which consults and handles project management for trades companies—helping them grow, streamline, and organize all aspects of their business as well as taking on special projects that their companies may not be equipped to tackle.
Current Licenses: Michigan Residential Builders License, Residential Home Inspector.
Previously positions: Owner and COO of a residential remodeling/construction company, Estate Manager: overseeing portfolio of 12 Estate Homes and staff throughout the country, Private Executive Chef, Interim Executive Chef at Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach.
