Mrs. Adriene Ostrom
Mrs. Ostrom was first a parent at Oakdale and was later hired as an aide in the Grammar School. Over her time here, she continues to fill multiple roles in our Grammar and Logic schools and has worked in PE, art, and Latin classes. Currently, she is serving our students in JK-grade 8 art and as an aide for kindergarten and grade 1.
Over her twenty years working with students, Mrs. Ostrom has served in a variety of roles: nanny, swim instructor, lifeguard, swim coach, soccer referee, and as a coach for softball (with championships for her teams). She also ran her own Home daycare and preschool for teachers’ children for two years. She also enjoyed her time as a General Manager for Wendy’s for twelve years.
Outside of Oakdale Academy, Mrs. Ostrom’s interests include spending time with her family. She enjoys vacationing and spending time outdoors or entertaining family and friends. Her favorite outdoor activities include camping, walking, and spending time outside barbequing and playing Crossnet.
Education: Mrs. Ostrom studied Architecture at Baker College and has taken numerous early childhood classes through the state of Michigan.
