Mrs. Nikki Humphrey
Mrs. Humphrey is thrilled to serve as the Rhetoric School Physical Education teacher at Oakdale Academy. Her approach to physical education is deeply rooted in the belief that true health and wellness come from a strong connection between the mind, body, and spirit. This holistic approach ensures that every student can thrive when they embrace the truth of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
With a rich background in education and fitness, she brings over 20 years of experience teaching kindergarten at Grosse Pointe Public Schools. After a rewarding teaching career, Mrs. Humphrey pursued her passion for fitness by opening her own studio, where she had the privilege of guiding others toward their health and wellness goals. More recently, she transitioned into Christian Life Coaching, where her mission is to help individuals transform setbacks and limiting beliefs into beautiful parts of their life story.
Mrs. Humphrey is passionate about bringing this same transformative spirit into the Rhetoric PE program at Oakdale Academy. Her goal is to inspire students not just to excel physically but to grow mentally and spiritually, empowering them to become well-rounded individuals who can confidently serve God and others.
On a personal note, Mrs. Humphrey is blessed to share her life with her husband, Luke Humphrey, and our daughter, Josephine, who is also a student at Oakdale Academy. She is also an active member of Oakland Christian Church in Rochester, where she enjoys leading life groups for women. In her spare time, she loves to knit, bake sourdough, work out, and create homemade skincare products.
Mrs. Humphrey is looking forward to getting to know each of my students and their families as they embark on this exciting journey of growth and wellness together!
