Mrs. Heidi Streetman
Mrs. Streetman is one of our literature teachers here at Oakdale Academy. She believes that every story ever written ultimately points to the Great Story of Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross to rescue and redeem a sinful, fallen people. She is passionate about teaching her students to truly know God, not just simply know about Him, and she is thrilled to teach in a classical, Christian school where the truth, beauty, and goodness of Almighty God is celebrated across all disciplines.
Mrs. Streetman is beginning her 29th year as an educator, and she has taught every age from K-12th grade in a wide range of school settings including private, public, homeschool, and homeschool co-ops. She has also taught in four different states and previously owned a private piano studio for 8 years. Mrs. Streetman has been married to her husband, Paul, for 23 years, and they have four children ages 17-22. She is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Roseville, Michigan, where she actively serves in the music ministry. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and road trips.
